Force India 2008 driver lineup to be revealed by Mallya at Monaco

Barcelona testing is over, and all and sundry tested last year’s Spyker B-spec car in no-traction-control mode. Nothing much of substance has come out of it - for us, I mean.

Drivers typically said that it is much more involving and fun to driver without traction control, and expounded on how delicate it all is.

Force India still has not got their media-interaction mechanisms in place, I think. There is so little stuff coming out of Mallya’s team - a perfect way to generate enthusiasm in the country, Mr. Mallya?

I have these dark thoughts that Vijay Mallya and Force India are playing it down a bit - because they may not have an Indian driver for the 2008 season. Hope I am wrong.

That little India logo on the car is fine, thank you.

Now, news is that Mallya is going to announce the Force India driver line-up for 2008  at Monaco on December 5.  At Monte Carlo, while addressing the Motor Sport Business Forum, the new owner will make the announcement.

This is what I read on Yahoo EuroSport:

… give an opening session presentation on how to harness the passion of a country which has the potential to become one of the sport’s biggest markets.

Definitely not by having no Indian driver, surely?
